We invite you to the Pop-Up Circular Hub as part of the <a href="https://www.sustainability-conference.org/en/">Hamburg Sustainability Conference 2024</a>.

On Monday, October 7, we will be presenting the goals and current projects of the Fab City initiative in Hamburg in various panels at the Pop-Up Circular Hub.
You can also experience the possibilities of open, local and circular production up close in the Microfactory on display on both days.


There will be a series of short talks on Monday, October 7, starting at 4 pm:

* Sustainability on Small Island States (<a href="https://www.gov.kn/senator-the-hon-dr-joyelle-clarke/">Hon. Senator Dr. Joyelle Clarke</a>)
* Fab City – The Concept
  * Fab City Global Initiative & Fab City Hamburg (Axel Sylvester)
  * Fab City Fullstack (Jan Peuckert)
  * Fab City Index  (Niels Boeing)
* Free/Libre and Open-Source Software, Open-Source Hardware - Example of the OpenLab Starter Kit (J.C. Mariscal-Melgar)
* The Microfactory - Concept and it's implementation and implications (Juan M. Grados Luyando)
* Open-Source Resource Management System (Michel Langhammer)
* Climate-friendly energy supply for a decentralised plastics recycling center at Boa Vista Cape Verde (Mathias Rüsch)


This will be followed by the monthly Fab City Intro, a detailed introduction to the Fab City concept, starting at around 6:30 pm.

And on Tuesday, October 8, at 4 pm, there will be a 3D printing intro workshop where we will show you the basics of 3D printing.
