+Die "Offene Produktion" (oder auch *Open Production* / *Open Manufacturing*) bringt einen neuen Ansatz hervor - eine verteilte, kosmolokale Form der Produktion, bei der physische Objekte in offener, kollaborativer Weise auf der Grundlage von Open-Design und Open-Source-Prinzipien hergestellt werden. Dabei geht es vielmehr um Peer-Produktion, Zusammenarbeit, Befähigung und Beteiligung aller Bürger:innen und Bürger an der globalen und lokalen Wertschöpfung.

+In dem folgenden Video gibt unser Forschungsteam Einblicke in die Welt der Open-Source-Hardware-Maschinenwerkzeuge und erklärt, wie dessen vollständige Dokumentationen Benutzer:innen befähigt, Maschinen weltweit zu replizieren und so eine Zukunft dezentraler Fertigung und Innovation global zu fördern.

+Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf den Fragen, wie Mikrofabriken dezentrale Fertigung und lokale Wertschöpfung fördern und wie genau das OpenLab Starter Kit dazu beitragen kann.

+Open production (or *open manufacturing*) is a new approach - a distributed, cosmolocal form of production in which physical objects are produced in an open, collaborative way based on open design and open source principles. It is more about peer production, collaboration, empowerment and participation of all citizens in global and local value creation.
+
+In the following video, our research team gives insights into the world of open-source hardware machine tools and explains how its full documentation empowers users to replicate machines worldwide, fostering a future of decentralized manufacturing and innovation globally.
+
+A special focus is on how microfactories promote decentralized manufacturing and local value creation and how exactly the OpenLab Starter Kit can contribute to this.
