The event began with words of welcome from **Corinna Nienstedt** from the Hamburg Senate Chancellery and **Lutz Birke** from the Ministry of Economics and Innovation.
The Pop-Up Circular Hub parties then introduced themselves, including **Fab City Hamburg**, the **New Production Institute**, **HiiCCE**, the **Senate Chancellery Hamburg** and **HafenCity University Hamburg**.
Experts such as **Johannes Ebert**, **Dr. Tobias Redlich** and **Sarah Prien** shared their thoughts on the circular economy and how we can implement it. There were guided tours of the resident OpenLab Microfactory - a place where open-source machines are used to manufacture open-source products.
The discussions continued. The second round focused on the role of urban planning in promoting the circular economy, with **Prof. Dr. Henning Wilts**, **Dr. Gesa Matthes** and **Karel Golta** as experts.
The third discussion focused on the future circular economy for Hamburg with **Claudia Eggert-Köster**, **Frank Tießen** and **Prof. Eric Pfromm**.
