This year, the Maker Faire Hannover has established itself as the third largest event of its kind in the world with around 15,800 participants. Since 2013, makers and all those who want to become makers have been coming together once a year to marvel at the diverse exhibition at the Maker Faire or to actively participate in it.

From traditional crafts to soldering stations, 3D printing and upcycling to programming courses and robotics, everything that makes the creative heart beat faster was represented.
We were there with Fab City Hamburg and, together with <a href="https://www.fabcity.hamburg/en/network/labs-werkstaetten/" target="_blank">Fab Lab Fabulous St. Pauli</a>, <a href="https://www.fabcity.hamburg/en/network/labs-werkstaetten/" target="_blank">OpenLab Mobile</a> and <a href="https://www.fabcity.hamburg/en/network/labs-werkstaetten/" target="_blank">Attraktor e.V.</a>, presented a wide range of projects and ideas - and of course also informed interested visitors about Fab City and the circular economy.

Among other things, we had open hardware, hands-on opportunities for makers, the ELCH electrochemical compact laboratory, a tide sensor, our Maker Map and a questionnaire for all visitors. Our projects were met with great interest and we were also able to experience many inspiring activities in the colorful, diverse Maker Faire exhibition.
