New Knowledge Hub Update (Concept)
HI. I have been working on the UX/UX of the Knowledge Hub Today.
You can have a look here: https://www.figma.com/file/ypzBR4RDU1aRGWzebJY08B/FCOS-Hamburg?node-id=2889%3A103254
Some thoughts:
- we cannot build it to simple. Otherwise we should use just some existing platform to post links and stop investing our time.
- Not too simple but still with a decent amount of effort. The word knowledge hub implies that this is more than just links or blogposts. We have to acknowledge expectations.
- We cannot do it to complex either. We have other focus.
- We need to collect metadata to build up some kind of structured knowledge. Every entry should have some metadata. Look here for details: #45
- Users can (without registration) do a md-based posting directly. This will become a merge request in Gitlab for a authorised curator.
- We add a edit page button to every content to push collaboration and involvement. This is done via gitlab workflow.
- We need to collect contact info to inform the user about approval or changes of his content
- We need to think about the kind of content. From the FC Fullstack I extracted the main categories which I see as leading content categorisation. I would like to the content in all of those categories, not just one.
