## Who are we?
Fab City Hamburg e.V. was founded in 2020.
A city can produce (almost) everything it consumes itself: That is the vision of a “Fabrication City”, or Fab City for short! This can be achieved with a consistent circular economy, new production processes using openly accessible machines, a new digital infrastructure for the city and comprehensive participation by city residents. In 2019, Hamburg was the first German city to decide to become a Fab City - together with 53 other cities, regions and countries around the world, including Boston, Augsburg, Barcelona, Paris and Bhutan.
## What's this about?
According to an amendment to the Articles of Association adopted by the General Meeting on December 16, 2014, the Fab City Hamburg e.V. will be managed by two bodies from 2025 - a seven-member honorary Supervisory Board and a full-time Executive Board. The latter consists of a dual leadership with two 50% positions (20 hours/week). The Executive Board manages the business of the association and is to be newly appointed.
According to the statutes, your tasks will include:
- The management of the day-to-day business of the association and the operational management of the business including personnel management, project management and input for strategic development
- Initiating and acquiring financial and funding resources and implementing projects
- Preparing and convening the general meeting and drawing up the agenda as well as preparing and following up Supervisory Board meetings
- Implementing the resolutions of the Supervisory Board
- Preparation of business planning and accounting as well as preparation of annual reports
A small in-house team and, if necessary, external service providers are available to you for implementation.
In particular it is about:
- The transformation to an organization with clearly defined goals, schedules, responsibilities, processes and KPIs
- The introduction of transparent project management
- The development of a user-centered CI/CD/brand with a clear target group definition and communication concept
- Defining and implementing a package of measures for events to increase visibility, securing a permanent event location (currently the Pop-Up Circular Hub at JUPITER)
- Community development B2B and B2C, member acquisition and retention
- Diversifying income to secure the financing of the association

You have an affinity for digital and technology and love the 9R strategies of the circular economy.
You have the entrepreneurship gene in you and want to make a difference.
You are an empathetic communicator and networker.
You work in an analytical, structured and efficient manner.
You coordinate various activities and ensure that everyone is pulling in the same direction.
You have an affinity for culture, design, innovation and trends for urban spaces.
You are confident in German and English (native English speaker as a plus).
